Hi! I'm Marina (she/her).

I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religion and the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University.

I did my PhD in History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh. My primary research areas are feminist philosophy of science, philosophy of biology, and philosophy of medicine. I am also a member of the GenderSci Lab at Harvard.

Together with Sina Fazelpour, I am a co-organizer of this year's Intelligence, Data, Ethics, and Society (IDEAS) Boston summer institute for undergraduates. Please encourage students interested in AI and data ethics to apply!

Before Pitt, I studied molecular biology and philosophy at Middlebury College. I love bikes, tomatoes, and my dog, Grendel.

You can reach me at m.dimarco@northeastern.edu.
